Gospel Breakfast

I think that breakfast should always come with a side of gospel. It was like church in vegas at the house if blues and it was packed.

My Kind of Dessert

Planet Hollywood gets what tastes good. Their dessert bar had cotton candy. Not sure why it is making me look possessed.

{Day Four} My Birthday

I love celebrating my birthday at AWR. I am always showered with gifts and yummy food. I had homemade Mac N Cheese with my own blue candle. I also got a rad present from Char Char....a flip. Seriously this present was so unexpected and I definitely feel like I don't deserve it. Anyways, Char Char really didn't get if for me, she got it for Luella so I can take lots of video of her spitting, blabbing, and crawling.
Notice the dog scarf...
...this and a necklace was given to me by the boys of AWR and the dogs.
Thanks Avery Clan!

{Day Three} Seattle Driving Tour

Today was a driving tour in Seattle. We saw West Seattle, Fremont, Ballard, Phinney Ridge, ad lots of other things. A couple of highlights were the Lockes (pictures of those tomorrow), Red Hill Burger, and below the ferry ride into the city, The Troll, and the real Stalin statue from the Mother country.

{Day Two} Off to Brainbridge

Today Aaron & I were off to Brainbridge on the ferry. The day was beautiful and blue skies. We enjoyed the day relaxing at Ashton Woods Retreat and then took a driving tour of the island and eat a yummy clam dinner. Even better, upon arrival, Aaron and I get to stay in the cottage.

{More} Snoqualmie

My friend Jami and her daughter Ally.Us at a real big tree...this tree is next to some old trains. Of course Snoqualmie use to be a logging town.

{Day One} Dinner with Old Friends

Today is day One of our WA trip. It has been fabulous. Thanks to good ole Facebook I reconnected with one of my childhood friends Jami. Aaron and I are staying with her family in Snoqualmie and having fun remembering old memories and catching up on new ones. In the picture Aaron and I are (trying to have a natural smile...didn't work to well) at her mom's new restaurant called Riverbend Cafe. Her mom Diane was like my second mom growing up and my dance teacher for 11 years. It was great to see everyone. What I love best about seeing old friends that knew me as a child are the things you learn about yourself from them. At age 10 I told Diane..."All I know is that when I grow up I am moving out of my house and never coming back."

{Congrats} Rachel

Today my youngest sister graduated from High School. It is the same school that all four of us (me and my sisters) went to for K-12. It is called Linfield and is a private school christian school in Temecula. So although my sister is probably happy to be done, I think that my parents are more happy they they can finally stop paying for private school for last 26 years!

Karaoke Surprise

I am a first time Karaoke-er. Here Aaron and I are at Erin's 40th Surprise party singing "Leather and Lace." I think that Luella liked it, I mean it is one of the best songs ever! Here are some more great moments on the mic that night!
