My Love for Barns

Many wonder why my wedding was at a stable, when I don't ride horses; or why I love red cowboy boots when I don't own a pair of wranglers, but this picture is where my love for reds barns and all having to do with them comes from. Growing up my grandmother lived on a farm in Wisconsin. We would go there every summer and stay for, well it seemed like month when I was little but is reality it was probably only a week! I loved visiting the farm. There were horses and hay and homemade jam. I rode tractors and set animal traps and drank water straight from the well. I have the best memories from the farm, besides the million's of mosquito bites. This is a picture of me and my friend Jami from one of my summer visits!

Me Little

I must be nesting because I found it necessary to scan every picture I have of me as a kid (not hard since I have about nine). I want to be ready to see if there are any similarities when luella arrives. Unfortunatley, I don't have many infant photos but I do have this christmas picture....and I kinda look like a boy...Sorry Lu! But I seem to get cuter as I age, so she may not be totally out of luck!

Red Boots

These red boots are becoming quite an icon in my life changing events...I wonder where they will go next.

{37 Weeks} Being Silly

Aaron and I did a maternity shoot with Charla. Of course we are not very good at being serious, so we ended up in our neighbors pool with our clothes on. Thanks Char Char for capturing the moment...check out more picture of the belly here!

Big Hands

Along with the good news of our last ultrasound...that being Luella is head down...we also learned she has huge hands. The doctor, who I am sure sees tons for ultrasound photos, gasped at the site and "Whoa (kinda loud), those are some piano playing fingers." The ultrasound is a little hard to see (especially since I am 36 weeks) but her hands are pretty much bigger then her head.
