Meet the many faces of the Exersaucer...we can't spend too much time in it because she get to frustrated that she can not make everything work the way she wants, as well as, she cannot seem to fit all parts in her mouth. I often have to hide it under a blanket or take it out of the room all together because she will bark to get in it and then once it in yelp with frustration. Her favorite right part of it right now is the snail and she likes to try to eat the lady bugs on the fabric of the seat. This week she got her first cold. It has made for an interesting week of sleep for all of us as she gets snotty and congested and has a hard time breathing. She is already turning into such a big girl and she is only 3 months. She is definately learning how to work her momma. Nap time is still a pain. She has stopped sucking her thumb, as she is not going to let something so simple trick her into sleeping. She gets real mad she can't crawl yet which makes tummy time interesting. She is still doing "v" ups at all times. If you copy all the moves she does while she is laying down you can get a killer ab workout!!!
Oh she is so much fun. I start work on Monday and I reflect about my time at home with her, it has been up there, if not the best time of my life. So here goes my stream of consciousness. I get so excited about little things...little coo's and big ones...she often seems to tell us off. She discovered the faucet of water during bath time with her toes. She like to violently eat EVERYTHING...what is funny is she usually grabs for something, thinks it is in her hands and then wonders why it didn't make it in her mouth. She started and stopped sucking her thumb. She has started the inch worm but gets frustrated to easily that she is not all the way crawling and just flips back over on to her back. She is quite the perfectionist and wants her body to do way more then it can. She LOVES rice cereal and is doing quite well with the spoon. Nursing time has become social hour and she stops for a chat with me mid meal. I also think it is funny the she tries to eat and chew on her thumb at the same time. She is still waking up 2 times a night. She is a hungry little girl but on the same note I have always been a hungry little mamma! She still loves watching tv. She loves it when her clothes are off. She has mastered the club and smack me, poppa and often herself in the face. She went in the stroller facing forward for the first time and I never heard of peep out of her. She intently stares at new people she meets as if she is not only learning there face but somehow looking into her soul. She has so many different expressions and finally smelly feet like her dad...ewww!
