Pretend City {with friends}

Over the three day weekend, Luella, Brookie, Samira and their mom's all went to Pretend City in Irvine. It was amazing and clever. It had stuff for everyone from ages 0+. Everything boring that grown ups have to do every day, was turned into this amazing place of play for kids. We will for sure be going back!
Here are a few quick pics of the day. here we are waiting in line to get in. This was Lu's first time walking all by herself from the car to our point of interest holding my hand the hold way. Let me tell you it was no short walk. It was too cute see her wait in line like a big kid.

This was by far Luella's favorite. The Art studio. I hope she never grows out of this phase.

Next up was the dance party/fashion show stage. Luella was not quite sure what all the crazy people were doing around her, but she was brave enough to give it a go once she knew a maraca was involved. Brookie and Samira showed no hesitation going crazy on stage...they were awesome.
Finally, Luella enjoyed some  gardening! There was many more play ares, but not enough hands on this mama to play and take pictures at the same time.

Deee-num-na {Delicious}

If you ask her what the Kitty cat says, the cutest Meow comes out of her mouth.
If you ask her if her food is good she says “Deee-Num-Na,” her version of Delicious.
She asks pretty please, and loves to sit on the steps with Papa.
She kicks and kisses with intent.
She gets real mad if her Gabba characters won’t stand up on the things that aren’t flat and she says “uh oh” if anything gets on her hands.
She loves dancing to jazz and more then anything else, even Gabba, she loves to color.
She takes off her own shoes but had trouble with the socks.
She loves to be run from us around the room and then throw herself on the ground backwards.
She gets frustrated in less then 1 second, but can sometimes gain composure and ask “helpa peeze”.
If you ask her to say something she can’t, she wiggles her tongue against her lips with “bluda, bluda, bluda, bluda.”
She loves playing “wee” which is any form of being pull around fast in some sort of tub.
She asks for more if you tickle her and gives the best hugs.
She enjoys little people, and puzzles. She love running on the couch and jumping on mama.
She eats in the bath and still loves her mama’s milk.
She hoards all blankets and balls in sight, but is quick to share what she has found.
She can’t get enough of soda waters, and always eats snack while grocery shopping.
She uses with a spoon pretty well and a fork even better.
She is aggressive in comfortable places but passive in strange ones.
Most of all she loves praise. Anytime she knows she is doing some thing good she calls for her Papa to watch.
She is amazing, and delicious, and I love her.
