More Fun From Washington
On the ferry from Seattle to Bainbridge Island. As you can see it got a little windy!
Another shot of my birthday cake...it was quite the rice krispy masterpiece. More of that to come on August 23rd...rice krispies that is.
Another reason I love going to Ashton Woods...yummy dinner on big table.
Blue sky in the Washington...lucky us. Taken on a hike in Tolmie State Park.

Remember
I remember the Lucky Egg Machine but had not seen one in years, maybe even twenty years. But Dirty Daves in Olympia still had one. Sweet! Everyone is a winner!

Happy Birthday to Me!
I have tell all about my great birthday. It was my 31st on June 17th! I arrived to Ashton Woods around noon. Ashton Woods is Charla's bother's bed and breakfast on Bainbridge Island, WA. First off, the property is to die (I would stay here for a month and never leave) and Charla's family had present and a rice crispy treat cake waiting for me. Another reason I love coming here is the food. Steven and Christopher (the property owners) cook the best food ever and never let me help. I get sit on the couch and do nothing everytime I come. I not much of a princess, but I feel like one when I am here. Thanks guys! And thanks Charla BLUE for always taking pictures of everything for me. Check out more of the day at Charla BLUE's Blog.

Final Day - Three
The pictures aren't in order, but it was quite a day. We woke up at 5:30 to go for our last 25 mile ride. I got a few shots of some lame vineyards...I past so many more better ones and I ended on with this picture. The picture of the city sites, is our detour through San Francisco. We missed an exit and ended up going on the Golden Gate Bridge on the 101 through SF, and then on to the Bay Bridge. Apparently, Sheila had not been on the Bay Bridge before and asked "Is this the Earthquake Bridge?"...Needless to say she had white knuckles until we made it on land.
The picture of of the BMW through the back window, is a picture of a car that had a sleeping guy in it at a light. He wasn't moving, so we went around him, when we passed he looked dead. We pulled the car back in his lane, ready to get of the care to save him when he woke up. We thought our detour was to save him but we were wrong...Instead, our detour was to help out on an accident on the 5 freeway (o course no pictures of this one, that would just been too perfect!). We were going southbound and saw and accident north bound. A Prius was spinning in the middle of the freeway after being hit by a truck. Everyone ended up OK, and we (there was four of us) felt we now earned super hero status since we were ready to save everyones life that day. So I would like to introduce you the Safety Sheila, Helpful Heather, Cheerful Chris and CoCo Puff!

Gum
Have you ever noticed how much gum is on the ground in public places. This is a picture of a walkway where I work. The campus in loaded with polka dots all over the ground. I understand throwing gum in a bush but right on the ground in the middle of the walkway...that is just sticky.
