Final Day - Three

The pictures aren't in order, but it was quite a day. We woke up at 5:30 to go for our last 25 mile ride. I got a few shots of some lame vineyards...I past so many more better ones and I ended on with this picture. The picture of the city sites, is our detour through San Francisco. We missed an exit and ended up going on the Golden Gate Bridge on the 101 through SF, and then on to the Bay Bridge. Apparently, Sheila had not been on the Bay Bridge before and asked "Is this the Earthquake Bridge?"...Needless to say she had white knuckles until we made it on land.
The picture of of the BMW through the back window, is a picture of a car that had a sleeping guy in it at a light. He wasn't moving, so we went around him, when we passed he looked dead. We pulled the car back in his lane, ready to get of the care to save him when he woke up. We thought our detour was to save him but we were wrong...Instead, our detour was to help out on an accident on the 5 freeway (o course no pictures of this one, that would just been too perfect!). We were going southbound and saw and accident north bound. A Prius was spinning in the middle of the freeway after being hit by a truck. Everyone ended up OK, and we (there was four of us) felt we now earned super hero status since we were ready to save everyones life that day. So I would like to introduce you the Safety Sheila, Helpful Heather, Cheerful Chris and CoCo Puff!
