my Last Year

Year in Review – 2008 – This was a good one!!! Among the moments that stand out each month (below), I am thankful for my friends and the many usual I do every month like happy hour with the Fords and Thomas, Girl’s Night when Dana makes mac & cheese and the kids are crazy, talking shop (not teaching, but tech) with Charla, taking “whooo” with Brooklyn, and get that special point from Jon Bob. I am also very glad to have been reunited with many of my friends from the past through FaceBook. I love seeing where their life is taking them. Here’s to a great 2008.

January – Tried out for American Gladiators (didn’t make it!), got my Mac, reacquainted myself with yoga
February – Ran a 1/2 marathon in the ran, got an agent (sports unlimited, although have not been hired for any jobs yet!?!?!), and went to triathlon camp in Santa Ynez
March - Got out of all Credit Card debt, found Doctor Day and his tape, and went to Palm Springs with the Hickey Family.
April – Went to “Wicked”, competed the Iron Girl Sprint Triathlon at Lake Las Vegas,
May – Secretly got Engaged…
June - Publicly got Engaged, went to Triathlon Camp in Santa Rosa, competed in the Danskin Sprint Triathlon at California Adventure, and traveled to Washington State to visit the Avery’s and celebrate my birthday AWR style, then to San Francisco and stayed in a suite at the Ritz.
July - Went camping in Mammoth with Aaron, Sheila and Heather, went “Loco for Coco” in Palm Springs for some pre wedding fun, auditioned for the Athleta Catalog (didn’t get that either), and had a bridal shower!
August – GOT MARRIED and honeymooned in San Diego.
September – Got pregnant! and started going to Church
October – Lost the baby (sad), but met Aaron’s family (good) and went apple picking with mine.
November – Threw a dinner birthday party for Becky (using all the fun stuff I got for the wedding), ran in the Long Beach 10K Turkey Trot, voted for the first time!
December – Started new “married” Christmas Traditions, celebrated the New Year at Montecito Sequoia with the Ford Family!
