2008Yesterday, my family threw me a shower with my aunts, sister and some good friends of my mom's that were always present when I was growing up. It was so fun to see everyone. I was showered with generous gifts. My best friend from high school, Jeanette, made the drive to San Diego with me and endured 4 hours of traffic to make it home. She was pregnant last summer and these are from both of our showers...fun (funny I almost wore the same dress)! I am so excited I have another shower this weekend and the next!

Yeah! So fun to see the two pics side by side. Crazy that they were taken almost exactly a year a part! You look beautiful! I'm glad I got to spend the day with you. And four hours of traffic isn't so bad with a good friend and good conversation.
