Lu had her 6 month check up early. At 5 1/2 weeks she is 26.5 inches long and 16.5 pounds. She is doing good...too good! She is crawling and eating everything. If only if was healthy for her to chew on newspaper, paperback books, cardboard boxes, plastic bags, and the remote control. I think toys were invented to create a distraction from the things that kids really want. Lu lately doesn't really enjoy her nights sleep. She is waking 3-4 times a night..."Are you really that hungry Lu?" She is getting more and more AWESOME daily. Exploring everything, laughing more and just the other day watched a little bit of "Yo Gaba-Gaba". She has new cries and is babbling up at storm (when in the mood or if you give her a pacifier to chew on), and totally yells at her parents. Yes already, she is girl after all? Her favorites right now are....well chewing. She prefers to stick her thumb under her shirt for a little texture chew. The thing that makes me laugh the most these day is the looks she gives me. She looks at me like "mom, really, you're weird". I also think it is funny that the back of her head and neck look just like her Poppa's (Aaron wants this spelled papa, but I like Poppa!!). Ok, that is all the time I have for rambling, must get baby to bed, no time to even spell check..sorry!
