So I keep thinking that any day now I will be receiving my Le Leche League card in the mail, kind of like when you turn 55 you get your ARP card. This is because I will be nursing a toddler starting Friday. I thought I would be done, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. I am just a big sucker. Now that she is signing and talking when she comes up to me and asked me for "Mama's Milk" with her little milking a cow motion....I die! So the nursing continues. I guess good though since Luella truly despises cow's milk. We know this because she made it very clear. When given her sippy cup of milk she will throw it in the trashcan. I thought hmmm, what about chocolate milk, but at day car she took her cup and hide it under about 10 baby dolls and also under diapers in another little boys diaper bag. Nursing has been much more an adventure then I ever imagined. Luella seems so little and so big at the same time. I never thought I would be one where the kids is tell you “Mom I want milk” after eating a happy meal and I still hope that I am not. But as for now little Lu Lu will be weaning herself because I don’t have the heart to do it. Only time will tell. As for now I can't believe she will be one on Friday...more blogs on that one for sure! Above is a little graphic from her First Birthday Invitation!
